Only 103K miles - Ice Cold A/C - 4x4!! Check out the pictures & video! This Explorer runs & drives extremely well! Extremely low miles - driven less than 7,000 miles per year! This Explorer was traded in at a Ford new-car dealership. We have driven this vehicle for the last 100 miles and it is very nice! The 6-cylinder engine runs strong with plenty of power. The automatic transmission shifts smooth with no issues at all. 4x4 system works and engages quickly. This Explorer is loaded with lots of options like power locks/windows/seat, keyless entry, in-vehicle compass and outside thermostat, remote starter, and so much more. Mechanically, this Explorer is in good condition. I have not noticed any leaks on the ground where this Explorer has been sitting. The brakes stop the car smooth and straight. While driving the steering & suspension components appears to be in good shape with no abnormal noise at all. The 4 matching Goodyear Wrangler RT/S 235/75/15 tires have TONS of tread remaining and the vehicle drives straight down the road. No vibrations at all when driving. No driveline noise or vibrations at all. Engine & Transmission run very nicely, there is a little tensioner rattle on a cold start (common in the Ford 4.0 SOHC). Transmission has zero issues at all, 4x4 system appears to work exactly as it should. Overall, this vehicle drives extremely nicely for its age and mileage. All the power options work like they should including the power seats, sunroof, mirrors, windows, etc. The climate control works and this Ford blows air on all blower levels and wherever you want it to (vents, defroster, etc). The AC is blowing ICE COLD. This Explorer is equipped with an aftermarket JVC AM/FM/CD player - the radio powers up and appears to work properly but there is no sound (I haven't had a chance to look into what may be causing this). The check engine light seems to go on and off (it is code P0420 - catalyst system efficiency below threshold bank one) but there is no noticeable performance issues. There are no other dash warning lights illuminated at all. All of the gauges read properly and there are no abnormal readings. The engine runs smooth with no lack of power at all. There is an occasional exhaust rattle at idle, sounds like a loose clamp but the exhaust is otherwise very quiet. The keyless entry system appears to be working properly with the key fob except the driver's door lock does not operate with the power locks (works great with the key). The rear-window wiper is not operational. The aftermarket Code Alarm remote start works nicely. Includes 2-keyless fobs and 2-remote start fobs. Extremely nice running and driving vehicle! Cosmetically -- this car looks in very good shape. The exterior paint is in excellent condition. There is a small area of rust on the passenger rear wheel well and inside the passenger rear door (see pictures). All glass is in-tact and in good condition. The 15" alloy wheels are in good condition. The interior is in quite nice condition with no major discoloration. Check out the pictures - they speak for themselves! I have tried to capture both the positives and the flaws in those pictures. There is a small rip in the bolster for the driver seat, an occasional rattle in the driver door on large bumps, a dent over the rear passenger tail-light, and small scratches over the driver rear wheel well. These are minor imperfections that are consistent with the age and miles of this vehicle. Overall, this Explorer shows very nice and will be a vehicle that you can be proud of! I have tried my best to represent this vehicle accurately and to the best of my abilities. Earning and keeping a 100% positive feedback rating is very important to me! I purchase most of my vehicles as trade-ins from new car dealerships as traded. I test drive each vehicle on the expressway and around town for at least 20 miles, often over 100 miles, and use that experience to represent the vehicle to you on eBay. Please remember that you are buying a used vehicle and that a certain amount of wear/use/flaws are to be expected on any used vehicle -- including this one.
