Aftermarket AM FM Cassette Aftermarket Corvette styled steering wheel Absolutely everything works like it should with maybe the exception of the interior light. Note: I am listing this car for a good friend of mine out of his personal classis car collection and it is probably among the best “driver” / “local showcars” that I believe you will find for the money! Condition This 1962 Corvette is not a daily driver, since restoration it has always been more of a pleasure car or local show car and it has been very well maintained. It does have a few minor bug chips, but I mean minor. No major scratches or door dings anywhere. The paint is a high gloss, 2 stage base coat/clear coat professional paint job done is a period correct look like the Honduras Maroon*, but is actually a House of Color variation in a “Raspberry” multi coat custom blend. The paint is predominately show quality with only very minor imperfections found upon an up close inspection. Some of the glass shows just a bit of streaking due to age. Overall it is in good condition, just not perfect. The car DOES NOT have the convertible top or convertible top hardware. It does have the ORIGINAL hard top, in need of restoration. The body of the car has undergone a professional rebuilding, restoration. In addition, other mechanical and electrical systems on the car are either new or have been professionally restored. Operating systems such as headlights, tail lights, turn signals, windshield wipers, etc are completely functional as well. Overall the paint is nice especially given the fact that it has been painted a few years. It is extremely clean and highly detailed inside and out… We have a fully detailed certified appraisal on the car from March 2011 at $73,250. We will include it with the purchase.
