2006 Hyundai Sonata - 4 Cylinder - One Owner 113,021 Miles This vehicle is being re-listed because the winning bidder failed to leave a deposit or even come to look at it. New York residents please know your restrictions when bidding on this vehicle. I have a receipt for complete short block and rebuilt motor done in 2012 with 88,000 miles. Work was performed by Hyundai under warranty. Runs and drives like new. Ice cold AC. Has a dent on the right rear trunk and quarter panel .... OK! - it was probably hit by a train! Has frame damage. I drove the car 10 miles art highway speeds no problem. In fact, you can drive it home, although I would suggest shipping. This vehicle goes to the highest bidder. No Reserve! No Buy it Now! Passenger front window does not go up or down. Strong motor - no leaks, noises, smoking, misfire or slippage. Rear window is broken. Front tires are weak and the car is a little dirty. I had to disconnect the battery because after opening the trunk I could not close it and the trunk light stays on. The reason Hyundai warranted the motor was because all the required maintenance to the vehicle was always done on time and religiously. This car obviously does not pass NY State inspection. New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will easily pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy.
