Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 2002 VW Passat GLX V6 with 160k miles on it. Car has had one owner and has been serviced by VW since new. Pennsylvania car, no rust whatsoever. Runs excellent. Shifts flawlessly. No check engine lights or anything like that. Steering is tight, suspension has no clunks or vibration, handles like a new Passat. Every possible option including heated leather, CD, Monsoon sound system, sunroof, and even power mirrors that fold in automatically when you park. Has all original keys and manuals. Had the timing and waterpump done, along with a transmission flush at 105k at the VW dealer in PA. Interior is excellent as seen in the pictures. Seats have little to no wear, and appears as if no one ever sat in the backseat. Exterior is great for the year/mileage. Has dents and dings, scratches, but no rust and as you can see in the pictures for what it is it looks great. I just had the car detailed including a compound of the paint, leather conditioned, they even 'restored' the headlights which was an extra $40. The car has a brand new drivers window regulator ($110) and battery ($140) this past week alone. If I didn't just buy a new truck and was going to keep this car, I would have two things done:-One was recommended by VW and is a Valve Cover Gasket at the next oil change, which has been done before but apparently it's a common maintenance item for VW's. I was quoted $130 from a local shop.-The other is to reprogram what's called the P71 flap, which controls the heat/A/C mixture in the glovebox. The A/C has been working intermittently since the battery was replaced, and I was told the P71 flap motor has to be re-programmed by Volkswagen to the tune of $36. Apparently because the battery was dead for more than 48 hours, it lost it's default setting and needs to be flashed. Again I'm being as picky as possible to give a detailed description to out of state buyers who can't come to look at the car before bidding. Books for over $4,300 in good shape. The car is located in Rome, NY and I can be reached on my cell anytime for questions at (315) 464-0636. $500 Non-refundable deposit due within 48hrs of auction end, full payment due within 5 days. Bid with confidence as I have 100% feedback. Please call with any questions or shipping quotes. Thanks and good luck bidding.
