1956 Oldsmobile 88 Rare 2-door post in great condition with very nice body, paint and interior. Great driving car with lots of power, automatic trans, disc brakes, power steering and A/C, no problem cruising on highway and driving anywhere!Please email me with any questions. See pictures of engine being rebuilt. This is not the original engine. Was purchased and installed in 2010.Engine was built in June 2010 by Mike’s Marine & Engines in North Carolina and purchased by the previous owner for $3,500 (have receipt, and information on all the engine specs and parts used).Transmission is a stock Jetaway Hydra-Matic four speed automatic transmission. Transmission works great.Triple carbuat Suspension/Brakes: New front disc brakes just installed, with new power booster, master cylinder, and aftermarket firewall mounted pedal assembly. The brakes work awesome!Rear drum brakes recently redone.Stock suspension, handles really well, bushings are older.Lowered in front with cut coil springs. Newer shocks.Stock rear-end.Power steering works effortlessly, steers really nice. Body/Paint:Body is in excellent condition. Car was repainted original colors, beautiful Cirrus Blue and White. Age of paint is unknown, but still very nice with only a couple small blemishes (see pictures).All the glass is perfect, no cracks.All the stainless trim is very nice, only a couple dings in the passenger quarter panel trim.The bumpers and grill are perfect with very nice chrome. Interior:Stock interior, beautiful original blue and grey colors. Aftermarket Air Conditioning – blows ice COLD!Original radio works. Carpet replaced recently. Seats are in great condition.
