1988 JEEP J-10 PICKUP TRUCK – VIN # 1JTNE26U0JT000236 TOTAL FRAME UP RESTORATION BY A VERY PARTICULAR AMC /NASH CAR COLLECTOR USING DOZENS OF N.O.S. JEEP AND AMC PARTS THROUGHOUT. THIS RESTORATION WAS COMPLETED IN 2001 BUT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS DONE IN 2010 AND ONLY HAS 24,000 MILES SINCE COMPLETION. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN STORED INSIDE A HEATED AND CONDITIONED BUILDING WHEN NOT IN USE, AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN WELL MAINTAINED WITH FULL SYNTHETIC OIL USED SINCE REBUILD. THE ORIGINAL TRUCK WAS AN EXCELLENT RUST FREE TRUCK THAT HAD NOT BEEN ABUSED. IT WAS BUILT TO SHOW AND TOW A CAR TRAILER AND DOES SO WITH EASE , MOST OF THE MILES PUT ON IT SINCE THE RESTORATION HAVE BEEN INTERSTATE HIGHWAY MILES BETWEEN OHIO AND FLORIDA. (It is started and driven short distances while in storage to maintain all systems) THIS TRUCK WAS BUILT TO TOW A CAR TRAILER , TO LOOK GOOD AND BE COMFORTABLE WHILE DOING IT AND IT DOES IT ALL!! IT HAS NEVER BEEN DRIVEN OFF ROAD OR IN THE MUD AND IS OWNED BY A MATURE ADULT!! IT IS ONE OF THE NICEST J-10 ‘S IN THE USA I am a personal friend of the owner and saw all aspects of the restoration process. He did everything except the paint, no expense was spared and no corners were cut, period!! He is selling it to make space for additional AMC/Nash collector cars in his storage facility.
