For sale is a 1983 Honda Goldwing GL1100 Interstate. This vehicle does NOT have a salvage title, it has a certificate of DESTRUCTION in Iowa. I do not know if it can be re-titled or not, we are just trying to make our money back from towing and storage from this abandoned vehicle. This vehicle DOES run. It was originally left on the side of the road because the front wheel bearings locked up on the rider. He then left the vehicle there, and it was subsequently impounded. The owner came back and claimed he was going to pay the tow bill but needed some things out of the saddle bags. We were too busy to watch what he was doing, and he actually ended up locking most of the saddle bags, taking the battery, and the keys. We didn't realize this until after he had left, never to return. The bike DOES run. We just can't start it due to the owner taking the keys and battery. Therefore, this is a parts bike. I tried to take pictures at every angle so you can see what you are getting. The bike has 30,000 miles. The battery cover IS there, it's sitting on the passenger seat. As far as I can tell, everything is complete on the bike. Shipping: Shipping is completely up to the buyer. We can help you load the bike, but transportation is up to you. You can pick up locally if you like. That is, unless the bidder is the original owner, in which case you'll still owe the full amount of towing and storage.
