Vehicle Detail
Rare and Desirable 1967 Mustang GT Fastback 390 4 Speed Highland Green Same as Bullitt! Body Set up as a roller for shipping. Looks to be original Highland Green paint, doors and trunk open and close great. Has stage 3 weight reduction...needs rear quarters, inner wells, outer wells, both front and rear passengers floors (both front seat floors and rear seat floors through the up and over are all amazingly solid). Needs trunk floor, trunk drops, rear rails from up and overs back, I cut away (for safety in shipping) the weak trunk rails and floor sides (leaving the rear bumper mounts) and supported the rear with a crossboard for shipping. Needs front torque boxes, tail panel, front rails, outer tower covers(the unbolting ones), inner shock towers appear good, you'll probably need a drivers door, and trunk lid, fenders will at the least need patches (might as well replace them), inner and outer rockers look workable, everything around the doors and up looks good. Hood opens and closes fine but has no latch in the hood, and is not the original GT hood so you will want to replace it with the GT hood. Roof, sail panels, and rear window panel all look pretty good, drivers A pillar looks damaged because of WS, but its fine, has just a small ding in it. Fire wall, inner fender aprons, radiator support, and cowl all look good. The car was never wrecked it just wasn't treated very well over the years when moved around. Needs drivers rear 1/4 extension. Passengers extension looks good as do the front fender extensions/headlight doors. Needs windshield(obviously), drivers glass and rear glass. Passengers glass and both wing windows look good. Rear valance is gone, front valance looks pretty good. Did I forget anything? If I did, plan on replacing it. I'm not trying to push anyone away, and its not like any of this is a big deal once the floors are out anyway, and given the high value on this car you probably should be replacing all this stuff anyway, but lets face it, there's no shortage of guys that are either ignorant or are flat out lying to you about the condition. I just don't want anyone to be unhappy with what they're buying. Ebay only allows so may pictures, so I'm not going to waste time taking a bunch of pictures of the under side, as it needs replaced, so whats the point, it needs replaced, I will replace some of the pictures with better ones as the auction goes, as it was bright and sunny and I couldn't see the screen so some of the pictures could have been better. Exterior Trim All trim is there and in great condition, with the exception of the GT headlight assy, driver rear 1/4 extension chrome, tail light bezel trim, and the piece of WS trim that is damaged on the drivers A pillar. GT emblems and Pop down gas cap look to be in pretty good shape. Drive Terrain 390 with C6 tranny both ran good, now just set in for shipping. 390 has one correct C7AE head the other is a later date code. Will need correct engine side(upper) motor mounts. Will need remote oil filter mount, exhaust, drive line and 3rd member. Has the short (1965 mustang) 9" rear end which IS the rear end to have on these cars as they are the perfect width for mini-tubbing. (If you don't know, mini-tubbing is an extremely simple method of adding a couple inches of wheel width to the inner well while maintaining a factory look and enabling you to put some of that big block power to the pavement, a must do on these cars.) Interior All the interior is there but will need most consumable pieces replaced as par (dash pad, seat covers, carpet, headliner, sail panels, etc.) All rear panels are there, console is complete but has broken/missing passengers side piece under dash, looks like all the belts are there, dash looks complete with the exception of they removed the glove box door to install a groovy Borg-Warner tape player. (Wait...What??? Borg-Warner tape Player?? Yup! Find another one of those!) Pedals, column, wheel, radio, door panels, kicks, sills...its all there, but some will need replaced as par. Other Front power disc brakes, American Racing Torque Thrust Bullitt style rear wheels, Dealer bill of sale which transfers easily to Title. We have several Mustangs including other 67 68 Fastbacks and as such we have most everything for this car. We have fold down seats, full 1/4's, doors, glass, trim, wells, interior and exterior parts, headers, etc etc, but where do you draw the line? So we are going to just list it on auction as is (We'll put a buy it now on there that includes everything we have to put this car together, but the buy it now will just disappear with bidding, that's just the way eBay works.) So after purchase if you want various items you can just talk to us after and we can add them. A very desirable 1967 Mustang GT Fastback 390 4 Speed in Highland Green, a very desirable and rare package. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I also have several other cars available, some listed below, some on auction. Feel free to make an offer... We have sold automobiles to eBay members from 0 feedback rating to feedback ratings in the 1000's, from domestically to over sees, and all of the transactions have been wonderful. So the statement that I am about to make is not at all out of prejudgment or bias. (Acts 10:34-35) So just as a reminder, please, if you are bidding or are going to bid be prepared to follow through. (Matthew 5:37) Sadly, we all see many items listed on eBay that are relisted due to non-paying bidders, perhaps these non-paying bidders do not realize eBay is not a video game and livelyhoods can on occasion be at stake. Thankfully, this has not been the case with all of you as our purchasers! So again, as a reminder, thank you for your fellow feeling and following through with your bid, knowing your payment is not contingent on finding shipping, as shipping is the buyers responsibility to estimate, knowing approximate costs before bidding. We try to be very reasonable and patient and will help in any way we can in working with your shipper. Know we graciously appreciate and thank you for you support and integrity in following through as our purchasers. chad
