2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata Grand Touring Convertible. --27,000 actual miles--brand new Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3 tires--6 speed automatic --Copper red / Saddle tan leather interior--air/cruise/power windows/locks/mirrors--fog lamps--Bose sound system--17 inch alloy wheels--factory front-end bra--traction control In excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. Original owner. MSRP for this car was $26,173. This car has been a weekend good weather fun car, garaged its whole life, driven in the rain a handful of times. It has very rarely been driven in the KS winters (I recently moved to TX). I just replaced the original tires with new Michelins, not because of tread wear but because one of the oem tires failed due to age. I add a note of clarification of the vehicle history report, which refers to two "accidents." This is misleading. The car has been in one minor accident that required repair. In 2007 we had a low speed parking lot collision that damaged the front part of the right front fender. I immediately had the body shop at Dick Edwards Ford/Mazda in Manhattan KS do the repair. I was and still am extremely pleased with the quality of the work that they did. To my eyes and to others there is no visible evidence of a body repair ever having been made. Please see the photos. The second incident reported was a one mph bump on the rear bumper in the driveway of a friend in 2010. This left two pea-sized marks on the rear bumper. Being finicky about my cars, I initially insisted that my friend contact his insurance company (which he did, thus the mention of this in the report) so that a proper repair could be made. I ended up by using touch-up paint. By the way, the report indicates that the incident occurred in Ohio (if I am reading it properly). The car has never been in Ohio. If you have to consider transport of the car, for several years I have used Peg's Trucking based in MN to transport my antique vehicles. This company is honest, competent, with reasonable prices.
