2000 F150 dedicated CNG Truck, 5.4 engine with approximately 38,000 miles (truck was previously owned by the University of Buffalo, NY) automatic transmission. The truck has a PA inspection and emission of 12/14, an includes a basic configuration of AM/FM radio, manual windows/locks, and a vinyl bench seat. This truck only runs on natural gas. The truck runs and drives, but I have noticed: horn does not work, key door chime goes off even when key is removed with door open ( I removed door switch), fuel gauge works sporadically (new filter included, but I did not want to change it), odometer will not show all the time, driver’s side interior door panel cracked, exhaust leak (flange broke at manifold someone tried to repair it with epoxy rather than a repair flange), back window leaks, cab corners rusted out, the jack and spare tire are missing, numerous nicks, scratches, dents and rust. I put a reman starter on 2 weeks ago. As for the CNG system, the 3 cng tanks say do not use after 12/2014. As for the range, the farthest that I have driven the truck before refueling is around 180 miles, I never really wanted to find out how far it would go before calling AAA. I like the truck and would keep it, but I am moving and will not have any CNG stations near my new home.
