1996 DODGE RAM 1500 SPORT This is a good running truck that I have owned for 6 years BUT it does need work so please read full description and ask any all questions before bidding. It has never let me down and starts and goes every time. It is definitely not pretty but will get you around town or make a great work truck or for parts. I will be truly honest with everything I can think of but ask if I missed something. As you can see by the pics it does have some frame rot around the sway bar. A/C has worked in the past but not now. I have put a Freon can in it and it will last a month or so. Seal at rear of tranny to drive shaft does leak. Brakes need replaced. Tires for sure need to be replaced as the front tires are worn and cause it to shake around 40 miles. Millage is unknown as odometer stopped working but an honest guess would be around 180,000. Cruise does not work. power door locks do not work. Yes you need a rod to hold up the hood. So, yes it starts, runs, drives but I would say it would need tires and brakes to truly be a dependable truck. Yes I put pics up of the sway bar as I want to be honest. Look at almost any old dodge truck, search the internet and you will see its very common. Tailgate works fine with no issues. Has dual aftermarket exhaust louder than stock for sure. Dash is cracked as all old rams are. Has dash cover. Heat works fine. Yes the bed tool box comes with it.
