I bought this 1992 Corvette Convertible on eBay six months ago and had it shipped from Seattle, but it is a bigger project than I can handle. Here is what the previous owner had to say about it and I quote from his listing: "it has right side damage due to sliding off the road four years ago, it has been garage kept since the accident, everything worked fine on the car, I had it running a couple of months ago but now I can not get it to start, I don't know if I blew a fuse trying to jump start it but it ran good before, no oil leaks or smoke of any kind and shifted good. I had two body shops look at it and both said they believed there was no frame damage only fiberglass and some suspension damage." End quote. As the new owner, I put it on a hoist and found the right front bumper and hood damaged, the right door skin loose, and right rear suspension broken. The whole rear seems to be pushed about two inches up and to the left. I don't have access to a frame shop so I need to sell it to someone who has. When I took the pictures, I hooked up jumper cables and everything seemed to work (locks, windows,lights, dash, etc) and the starter even clicked in once. I believe the drivetrain is sound but the air conditioning compressor is locked up and loose behind the seat. The car will roll onto a trailer and I will gladly help load it. I have the clear Washington title and require a $500 PayPal deposit and cash when the car is picked up. The Vette is in my yard at 1901 Jolly Rd, Okemos, Mi and can be inspected anytime by appointment. Please ask any questions and do inspection if possible before bidding. I value my 100% rating highly. AutoCheck shows a salvage title when it was stolen in 1998 but I have a clear State of Washington title.
