1953 Mercury Monterey 2dr. hardtop. All original except for the engine and transmission have been replaced with a stock 302 ci. and C-4 automatic. The air filter is an Cadillac dual inlet top with a modified Ford bottom. Bittersweet and Tahiti tan Paint is 2 stage, slick as glass. The interior is new and done by a Mercury specialist in the original pattern. New brakes, near new wide white radials, new weather strip, new battery, new alternator, new original style wiring and fresh carb rebuild. Very nice chrome and stainless. On frame professional restoration on a nice car. All rust has been replaced with new metal. Runs, stops and drives excellent. The VA license tags on the car do not convey.
