Vehicle Detail
Hi, I am selling my 1973 T140 Bonney that was professionally built by Kiyo, at one of the most respected shops in the West, The Garage Company in Inglewood, CA. Bike is a one kicker and only selling so I can buy a bike I have been trying to buy for years. This is bike is an extremely high quality build by one of the best shops around for years. It is very desirable and these don't change hands very often. I am the 3rd owner since the 90's and purchased the bike from a mechanic at the Garage Company who owned the bike for 5 years. Complete motor and transmission rebuild about 800 miles ago by that the Garage Company by famous racer and builder Sunny Nutter. Bike Needs Nothing and just serviced engine and trans. This bike was a feature bike in the first issue of Dice Magazine back in 2004 and a collector edition of issues 1 - 4 come with the bike Motor and upper frame numbers match and late 68's Amen Savior plunger on the rear, Dual Amal 930 carbs and custom made bars and dual fishtail exhaust made by Kiyo. Sparx battery eliminator system and all electronics work perfect. Original 1960's Wassell tank, Harley Waffle Grips and Avon speedmaster front, new stainless laces on Vintage rear hub. This bike is rock solid and can be ridden anywhere anytime a simple Google search of "The Garage Company" will give you peace of mind this bike is done right. Mechanically 10 out of 10 and cosmetically 9 out of 10 due to a few rock chips here and there. Please read my feedback and bid with confidence and local bidders encouraged to come view and inspect. If you have any questions please ask. And Remember, Ride em don't store them! Thanks, Bob 714.612.1267 On Jul-02-14 at 15:46:44 PDT, seller added the following information: This bike was also featured in Power Glide and a chopper book by Laurent Bagnard On Jul-05-14 at 15:39:44 PDT, seller added the following information: This bike cost $15,000 to build and buy back in the 90's and it surely has not depreciated much and is a steal at my reserve. If you have ever wanted to own a Harley or British Bike now is the time. Reserve is very close! I purchased a 54 Harley VL 74 and need the funds for that. My loss your GAIN!
