Up for Sale is this Beauty! This is the Higher Performance L-82 Stingray. My husband originally purchased it in 2003 for $10,200. He spent years modifying it and upgrading many features. Then he became seriously ill with Cancer, and recently passed away. I've decided to sell this car to someone who will ENJOY it. New Owner should KNOW and LOVE Older Corvette Stingrays and also be able to WORK on them. There is still work to be done; mainly on the interior. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Always Covered & Garaged, Extremely LOW Original Mileage (29,717) L-82, T-Top, Great Sounding Header Side Pipes, New Custom Upholstery and Lots of Upgrades! The Original Owner said "One Owner Corvette Matching numbers 350ci L82 with 29,000 Original miles. Suspension has been redone, Original 12 Bolt Rear end has been re-shimmed. All Gaskets in the Engine have been replaced, as well as Wires and Lines. Aftermarket Gauge Cluster under the hood shows Vacuum Gauge, Amperes, Voltmeter and Oil Pressure. Original Rochester 650cfm Carburetor. Original Turbo 400 Hydromatic Transmission which shifts like it did in 1976 - Very Firm - 3 speed with a shift kit. New Crane Camshaft. Horsepower is close to 300HP with all the additions. Power Windows, Tile/Telescopic Steering, Tires Brand New with 95% Tread remaining. Paint was professionally redone in 1998 where Corvette was epoxy primed, blocked then base/clear coated, wet sanded and then hand buffed." Since 2003, this car has only been driven around our property and has ALWAYS been Stored and Covered in our garage. The Center Console needs to be assembled. The Paint job is 16 years old and car needs new paint even though it looks good in the photos. It has chips and sanding marks. Headlights stay up when car is turned off - may just need a new relay switch unit? The car was driven last summer. It started easily, sounded really good (LOVE GlassPaks!) and it drove well. Then it was driven back into the garage and stored for the winter. Unfortunately, I don't know much more about this car, and can't verify all matching numbers, etc. Because of this, and the fact that there is still some work to be done to finish it, I am listing this car with an EXTREMELY LOW RESERVE. It is WAY LESS than what we originally paid for it, PLUS it includes between $4000 to $5000 in upgrades. I've tried to provide you with many Photos and as much information as I can.
