For sale I have a 2005 Volvo V50 T5 AWD. 117k Miles I am the 2nd owner. Dealer serviced all its life. Originally a NJ car with easy NJ miles. Absolutely everything works. Since buying it about 10k miles ago I have done the following, I have all receipts for parts and the work. All parts are OEM not aftermarket. @ 107,378 miles the following work was performed Water pump Thermostat Timing belt + tensioner Engine mount (upper left side that attaches to the frame rail) Engine air filter Cabin air filter Front Wipers Transmission flush with Red Line ATF(complete flush till clean ATF was flowing through, used about 2.5 gallons to do it right) Coolant change with correct Volvo coolant. Oil change. Brake fluid change. Power steering fluid flush. Front struts (Sachs) Front strut mounts (Lemforder) Front strut bearings (Febi) Rear shocks (KYB) Control arms (Lemforder) Inner and outer tie rods 4 wheel alignment 4 wheel balance Volvo OEM Spark plugs @ 111,229 Bay Ridge Volvo Oil change @ 114,747 Bay Ridge Volvo Oil Change About a month ago at around 115k I installed a brand new wheel bearing on the left front hub as it was just beginning to make noise. This week of 6.9.14 I will install new Pads and Rotors for the front, new sway bar links. Listing for the 3rd time. Found out last week my family is about to expand. Spoke with my significant other after pulling the auction figured maybe we'd keep the V50, she said she wants an XC60. Time to sell everything and prepare for the new born. The previous owner of this car was an older woman with a leg disability, the car was equipped with hand controls. The only visible things from the hand control installation is the old ball that was on the steering wheel and the plastic trim panel was slightly modified on the drivers side. No wiring was ever touched everything is OE and works perfect. The engine has plenty of power no noises, no knocks, just buttery smooth operation. Transmission shifts flawlessly no knocks, hesitation, slow responses, nothing. It is perfect. A/C works beautifully. I recently took a trip to Florida and the car performed perfect, A/C was so cold I had to keep it on the lowest fan setting because it was near freezing inside the cabin with ambient outside temperature showing in the 80's. Heat works very well as well, to the point where the car becomes a sauna. By the end of the week once the wheel bearing is changed the car will need absolutely nothing. All systems operate as they should, it drives straight, stops straight, doesn't have any noises inside the cabin or outside. The car is optioned in a rare fashion. It has no moon roof, which is nice since a lot of Volvos have sunroof drain issues and the water ends up collecting in the front foot wells eventually destroying the yaw sensors underneath the seat. It has the rare sport split interior, which I prefer to the leather option. If it were only manual it would be perfect. It has a few scratches on the rear bumper, the left rear wheel arch has a couple scratches since someone scraped up against it (no rust, very minor barely visible). The only aftermarket thing that this car has is 30% tint all around including a 6 inch strip on the front windshield. The car is legal in Florida with the current tint setup. I have pictures that show the paint depth all around the car with the exception of the hood which is aluminum and my paint meter does not read aluminum. All readings are within spec. Please keep in mind this is my daily driver and mileage will slightly go up this week. I am no stranger to Volvos, I have owned 6, my family has owned close to 20 over the years, from 740s, 760s, 940s, 850s, v70s, xc70s, xc90s, you name it we probably had it. Previously I was selling this car because I wanted to fund my summer project. I wanted to build a BMW E39 Wagon with an M5 swap, but priorities have changed. I no longer need such a nice car as I found a job in Brooklyn and have bought myself a beater S80 for the short 9 mile NYC commute. I don't want to keep driving this V50 around and park it in the street around my job because it is in too good of a shape. Should the question of "Hey will this car make it to Los Angeles under it's own power?" arise .... the answer is "YES!!" Without a doubt. *These pictures were taken a few weeks prior. The car still looks the same with the exception of the yellow laminx fog light film you see on the fog lights. I have removed them as they began to discolor.
