Vehicle Detail

1983 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 - Excellent Original Paint and Interior - 266k overall miles I found this locally last year and couldn't believe how great the condition of this vehicle was in for being 30 years old. Then I found out that everything that needed to be replaced or rebuilt in its drive train had been done just 1700 miles before! I bought it immediately and then added the lift and tires to round it out. I purchased the custom 3rd row seat so that I could spread the kids out on camping and fishing trips. This has been my daily driver and I would have full confidence driving it anywhere the road would take me. I have never taken it on anything more extreme than a normal dirt road for camping or fishing. As a Land Cruiser lover, this is one of the best rigs I have owned, but unfortunately I need to downsize my collection. I get compliments and head turners on this thing all the time. 6k miles on rebuilt 2F! -HEI Coil/Ignition Distributor -HEI wrapped ingition wires -New Weber Carb w/ Man-A-Fre adapter and heat riser -New Ceramic Headers -New Windshield -Professional Privacy Tinting -New Exhaust -New Battery -Old Man Emu 2.5" Medium Duty Dakar Lift with Old Man Emu Nitrocharger shocks -HFS Extended Grade 8 shackles (delivering almost 4inches of overall lift with the OME suspension) -New 33x10.5 BFG All Terrain K/O tires on original chrome FJ60 rims -Rebuilt Front Axle with all new seals -Rebuilt transfer case -Heavy duty bull bar -All new heater and a/c components - A/C blows cold! -Rare 3rd Row Seat, made custom for FJ60 out of a company in California, DOT approved! -Tow package w/ 7 pin wiring -Interior is in excellent original condition (with the exception of an FJ60 typical rip in the side of the driver's side seat bolster) -Original paint is about the best I have seen on one of these, with the exception of normal rock chips and very few scratches, light fading of clear coat on rear left quarter panel, the only rust really is surface rust where the paint has been nicked, along the bottom rocker panels and such If you are not interested in the 3rd row seat option, I would gladly keep it and knock off $500 from the final price as I could probably use it in the future. This is around $1k to purchase new. I would be willing to either meet you at the BZN airport or if you arrange for shipping, I will be as accommodating as possible. Please ask questions and feel confident in your bidding. I have set a very reasonable reserve for what you get with this rig. Thanks for bidding! Should I have an offer locally and the reserve has not been met on the auction yet, I hold the right to end the auction early. On Jun-21-14 at 10:23:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Revision: I have a had a lot of questions and concerns about rust and I can understand this if you are used to vehicles from Cleveland, Detroit, Pittsburgh, etc. This vehicle has spent its entire life in Eastern Washington, Idaho and Montana. These are dry, arid places and our snow is powder. I am technically the 3rd owner and in Montana, we do not use salt on our roads and because of this our cars last a long time and you will see cars from the last century with minimal, if any rust. The rust I am referring to is a surface rust spot about the size of a quarter at the end of the passenger side snake blinder with another small spot even smaller about 7 or 8 inches from it. The fix would be to remove the snake blinder (common thing to do on FJ60's, and the driver's side is already gone), sand the spot and hit it with some touch up paint. I have tried to revise my pictures to show this, but eBay does not allow any revision of pictures once the ad is posted. I will gladly respond to your questions and include this picture for you. Thanks and sorry this was not clearer from the beginning.
