Up for bid is a true 1969 Hurst/Olds #296 on the HURST/OLDS registry http://hurstolds.oldsgmail.com/69hovin.htm with the original transmission # OH69-1268 and original rear end with the OPTIONAL 3:91 gears. Unfortunately it has a 1969 455 ci engine but is non numbers matching with C heads not the D (thou the C's are a better head) Car runs very strong with rebuilt heads fresh w-30 cam, roller-rockers, headers and 2.5 in Pipes X-exhaust system. Engine is out of a 1969 tornado. Can drive it anywhere. This car has been in the family since 1973 and I have owned it since 1990. Did a frame off restoration myself from1993-1997 (working full time it took me awhile). There was a small patch in the floor previously to me buying the car. Car looks good and could still win at local car shows. I am losing interest in the car and would like to invest more in retirement and enjoy some vacations with the kids before they leave me.
