NO RESERVE AUCTION 1981 Toyota Deluxe Pickup 4x4 22R, 4speed, factory air conditioning 7" Skyjacker suspension lift, high arch leaf springs, Skyjacker shocks, and brake lines.Could add more lift easily and inexpensive, using blocks. No added blocks were used with this lift. 38x12.50 15 Interco TSL SUPER SWAMPER mud terrain less than 1000 miles Ultra Nomad 15x10 wheels Said to be 84,700 original miles8,000 pound WARN winch, custom bumpersStraight front axle Has catalytic converter. Muffler is gone. Needs a muffler. This 1981 Toyota short bed pickup truck is in good/above average condition. You wouldn't believe the original condition of this truck due to it being un-original with lift. I'm suspect myself of the 84k on odometer being original, but condition alone leads me to believe what I'm told to be true. Slight leak from front main seal, but not bad or enough to even drip. It is wet with oil around the seal. Right front wheel seal leak. Carburetor works great, and automatic choke still works. The truck is complete, and solid, besides the paint, both front side marker light assemblies, tailgate, and muffler are all the items this truck is missing. All would be cheap and easy to replace. Body and frame is very straight and free of rust. No holes in floorboard. One or two small holes in floor of bed. No holes in bed sides. Interior and seat is above average, with a very good looking cloth seat under neoprene seat cover. Cloth is tore and worn on driver side and will be beautiful if reupholstered. Headliner. Original Floor mat is worn thru under pedals on driver side, as usual, which makes this as average, however, Unbelievable how great shape the interior and seat is in. Sliding rear glass. All lights and gauges work. Turn signals, wipers, heat, and air conditioner all work. A/C needs charge, but is complete and ready for R92 or conversion. Vents and controls all there, and operate like new. Even has a perfect Chilton manual from 1981 in the glove box. I have many more pics but I eBay app is not letting me load more than 12. Message me to see more, or preview the truck. You'll love it. This is the Toyota to have and be proud of. It is overall in great shape. Too bad I need rent money, and currently laid off from work, I wouldn't sell this truck. It is so close to being a wonderful "Blue Chip" just add the 2 side marker lights (about $25ea), tailgate, original blue paint, and Toyota grille emblem, and this very truck could be priceless. Well maybe not priceless, but $15-$20,000 On Jun-08-14 at 14:13:48 PDT, seller added the following information: Located on Chapman Hwy US 441/411, just 13 miles south of Downtown Knoxville. 102 Down Home Park Lane, Seymour, TN 37865 Look for it at Knoxville crgslst search 1981 Toyota TSL SUPER SWAMPERS Administrators please message me if info not allowed. I hesitated to list this information to research more if it was, or not allowed. Didn't find in rules it couldn't be listed, so I revised this listing. This truck is placed at a NO RESERVE AUCTION, and bids have been placed, so truck WILL BE SOLD to highest bidder. It is worth stacks of cash so bid high and bid often. Bid to win. Please pickup at its location. No shipping. No need to pay deposit via PayPal if you can purchase and pick up the truck within 24 hours of auction close. Have CASH ONLY. On Jun-08-14 at 21:21:14 PDT, seller added the following information: My friend has pointed out today a rust hole at the top of the bed on driver side it's under the top rail near the back behind last bed rail hook. It's about half dollar side. I never even noticed it because of the black paint, but he did tell me that was the first and only place the he noticed any rust. My biggest concern was the under-carriage and frame, witch is spotless. NO RUST at all down under. However it does need a shot of paint underneath for protection and looks. I noticed on my listing title it say NR. I meant that for NO RESERVE, but it may cause confusion, it does not mean "not running". I did fail to mention this truck runs and drives real well. I drive it every day I get a chance. I drive it almost as much as I drive my primary daily driver. It does ride rough over bumpy roads and washboards and such, but it is expected for a solid 4x4 Toyota to ride hard, but multiply that by 10, with these high arch springs. The tires are also bias ply, not radial so they have to round out a few hundred yards of driving after being parked. I do feel like I'm riding in a Rolls Royce if I'm driving then go hop in the plush leather seats of my Dodge. But I have a great time driving this truck, and get lots of looks. My teenage daughter is very disappointed I am needing to sell this rig because she will be driving to school next year, and this was going to be her truck, and loves it. She has even practiced climbing in and out of it so she would look cool and not be embarrassed falling out or something. It's like any other Yota, easy to drive for a new driver. Clutch and transmission is strong. These trucks are bulletproof. Just watch BBC's Top Gear, season 3, episodes 5-6. They tried to see what it would take to destroy one of these trucks... Well see for yourself. This truck does great trail crawling. I don't do mud (ruins crucial components) but there's nothing this truck can't handle, except maybe the autobahn, you won't be winning any drag races, but this 2.4 liter four cylinder has plenty enough torque to crawl mountains at low idle speeds, and enough power to get root jumping momentum when it's needed. You aren't afraid of anything in the woods when trail riding with this truck. Plus the winch works great, if your buddy were to try to hang with you and happens to get into any trouble. I truly love this truck and don't want to sell it, but I am starting bids off at $100, and selling at no reserve just so you know it will be yours if you bid right. I need the cash, and I believe my Toyota family out there will see this truck's genuine heart, and bid to buy for what it's worth. Of coarse I would be heartbroken, and have a big problem if the truck sells for only $2,000, but that's the risk I must take to get this truck out there to you guys to bid. I must sell at this time to keep a roof over our heads. Thanks for taking your time to look at my auction. Please bid with confidence. On Jun-14-14 at 11:24:35 PDT, seller added the following information: The huge lugs of the Super Swampers do rub the outside bottom of the finders at full cut, if the suspension is at flex. This has rolled the inner edge of the rear (near the door) of the front fenders on both sides. It's not anything bad or damaging, but I think it's important to know. I can text pics 865-719-5350 ..please don't just text me for fun, or to have pics of a cool truck to show your buddies.. Haha, I know kids play, but I'm with family right now, literally don't have the time to send all of America pics, it'll be time consuming enough to send them to just half of the actual bidders, Thanks. 4th gear is used more like an overdrive with the stock gear ratio. It pulls ok on hills, but there is quite a bit of downshifting to 3rd in low speed situations, with our tall long sloped hills here in East Tennessee. This is common in these trucks with stock tires, as you may well know. It does make a bit of a difference with the oversize tires, but with 4.10 or lower gears that it is equipped, it does very well, gets up to speed very well, and shows off it's torque. It has no side-to-side play in the suspension. It drives true and straight at all speeds, and during braking. I'm sure your aware these are fine little engines, but not an outrageous power house. I've never had a problem in the world with this wonderful little machine. Even my daughter, who is a great driver, though not very experienced, can pull out on hills without stalling, or slipping the clutch. It's impressive. I am sad to lose it, and I have friends and family here now that are trying to offer me money so they can keep it in the family. All I can tell them now is they must bid. Breaks my heart, but I'm between a rock and a hard place, and must sell. Thank you for your bid. You WILL NOT be disappointed, not even for $15,000 would you be disappointed, and sure I know with the $3500 spent recently on the lift, wheels and tires, it could've had paint, emblems, and a tailgate, then would sell for more than $15k. So you will be making a prime investment.
