2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution - Car has an Iowa Assigned VIN, was hit hard front. I purchased the vehicle from an insurance company and have slowly been putting it back together.

The car does run and drive and is completely legal, however, the transmission will need a rebuild. The car does not have 1st gear. The car also has a new clutch

The engine is a 2.4L 4G64 - the rotating assembly is stock, with the EVO VIII head, and adjustable cam gears to account for the additional deck height. The car has 660CC injectors, and could use a tune. I noticed last time that it was leaking a little bit of oil, but I couldn't tell where it was coming from. The car does not have A/C. I would advise that the car be trailered to it's new home, but it would most likely make a long trip without any problem.

Overall the car is in decent shape and could be a lot of fun without much work - I bought a boat which now consumes all of my free time (and money).
