Here is the story of this car! I bought this car like 8 month ago from the guy which is the original owner of this car! I found this car on craiglist and i saw the guy wrote that there is only 40,000 miles and i know you will never find car like that in 1991 318is with one owner and with that low milage. The car was not really clean and 2 of the tires were flat and the battery was dead! I asked him when did you drive this car last time he said like four years ago! But I checked this car around, there was no rust, nothing broken so I bought the car from him.i called towing and towed this car to my mechanic. Next day he started to work on it, first thing he did was the drain oil from engine, than he took off fuel tank and cleaned it, he put new tires, battery, fuel, he checked compression on each cylinder, and everything looked good, so we tried to start this car and it starts right away! I started driving around the block and the car was driving like a new car, i didn't believe it. It's 23 years old car! I started checking all electrical stuff and everything was working like its supposed to be! After a couple of days I started to clean this car little by little and to be honest with you guys the interior looks very clean,with no scratches or reaps or cracks, but exterior is not as good as interior, there is some dents,scratches,chips! I was thinking to repaint the whole car, make it like mint original condition and just keep it ,because there is no more cars like that with this milage! I bought the new grille for this car from dealer because the old one was cracked. I was about to order the side grills too,because it looks like somebody hit this car on the parking, so it is a little damaged on the front and you can see it on the pictures! I was about to fix everything,but to be honest i dont have time for this and the other problem is that you have to keep this car in a dry warm place which i don't have. for those 8 month that i have this car i kept it in my parents garage, but i need to move it from there so it is another problem! I dont want to sell this car like 100%,there is something holding me .So i just want to test the water, I put it on the auction and will see whats gonna happen, if I'm gonna get close to that what I am thinking I'm gonna sell it!One more thing I didn't register this car,because i don't want to make my self second owner the guy just signed the tittle so there is the original 1991 tittle.
