Very solid body for a 1948 fleetline would be a great lowrider or bomb project or would make good hot rod or rat rod . . . had been seeting under a carport just south of tulsa oklahoma since 1979 where the previous owner had pulled the engine and transmission and lost interest . . . i bought it but just dont have the time to build it as good as it should be done since its already in such solid shape . . . i am including a 1973 250 ci straight 6 if you or your shipper has the ability to haul it . . it is complete and runs and was in another project that i bought and im not going to use . . . its nothing special but i heard it run and may sweeten the pot . . i do not have a transmission to include . . or a front seat . . . the hood hinges are not on the body but are included in some of the other parts that i have in the last pics that are included . . . there is some rust holes in the right side of the trunk floor pan that you would want to patch but for the most part all the rest of the floors are pretty solid . . there is heavy surface rusting in most areas and on some of the body but no major gaping holes or areas that are really bad . . there is a spot on the passenger fender behind the wheel down low. . . please take time to notice pics of it on the lift how solid the rockers frame and floor pan are . . . this car must have been something special back in the day with the fulton visor and the bumper end guards and the rain guards on the doors. . .there is even some spot lights and a tissue holder (that is pretty crusty) so the car was well accessorized !!! I put some tires on it that holds air but before i loaded it it was sittin on flats and boy did it look cool all slammed down !!!! I could even see this car done with a LS motor and leave the patina the way it is and just cruise it . . . i really hate to see it go but i just got to many other cars taking up my attention ... The previous owner lost the title says he is going to find it but its been a couple months since he told me that but i can for sure get the name of the original owner who it was last registered in back in the early 70's when the guy i bought it from bought . . . car does not run or drive so be sure to let your transporter know that when you are getting shipping quotes how ever i am pretty resourcefull and have a winch and tractor that i could assist in loading if they feel comfortable with that . . . i dont mind helping load with my tools if i need to as long as your transporter comes to my house which is only 1 mile off a highway and its not a residential area so its easy to get around even in a semi truck and trailer . . . . thanks for looking i hope it goes to someone that can really do it justice rather lowrider or street rod style !!!! please ask any questions you may have and your welcome to come view it locally . . also if it helps i could deliver it up to 250 miles for $2.00 a loaded mile if paid in full before i leave . . . and i dont mind storing it here outdoors for up to a month until you or your shipper can make it here to pickup .
