Vehicle Detail
1969 Jaguar XKE Pro Street Series 2 Coupe 406 cid SBC, TH 350 Trans, Ford 9 inch rear end, coil overs and disk brakes on all 4 corners. This car has a clean Florida 1969 Jaguar title and is registered and driven in Florida. See YouTube video for more information. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJfXq7OOQEE On May-29-14 at 05:09:27 PDT, seller added the following information: Here are more pictures found on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93h7URVvvQ4 On May-29-14 at 19:38:18 PDT, seller added the following information: The chassis is 2X3 square tube from front to rear. The rear end is mounted by a fully adjustable 4 point set up with a panhard bar. There are several adjustment holes to change the pinion angle/ride hight. The roll cage is mounted in 8 points; 2 in the rear, 2 in the halo behind the drivers/passengers head, 2 in front of the firewall and 2 in front of the A Arms. There are door bars that connect the fire wall bars to the vertical halo bars, however, they have been removed for easier access, they will be included and could easily be reinstalled. The engine is mounted in the chassis by a front plate in front of the engine and a mid plate between the engine and trans. The transmission in covered by a thick trans shield. The car has low/high beam headlights, tail/break lights as well as marker lights. It does not have turn signals. The marker lights could easily be wired for turn signals. I use hand signals so its not an issue. Because the engine is set back and the tubs are huge to house the giant rear tires and it has the original 1969 Jaguar seats, the drivers compartment is small. I wouldn't recommend this car to you if your over 6 feet tall. Adjustments could be made to fit a larger driver. On Jun-03-14 at 19:01:21 PDT, seller added the following information: I think it has a 4:11 gear. All guages work, speedo, tach, oil pres, water temp, volt meter and the clock. The transmission was rebuilt and shifts fine. The car will pin you back in the seat when you hit the gas. I believe it has a 2500 stall converter in it. The trans cooler is mounted on the cage behind the passsenger front tire. The rear hatch is on factory hinges. The handle is a fabric loop that is on the right hand side of door. You can see it in the video. When I take the car to shows I tuck the handle inside the hatch to give it a clean look. When the show is over I open the hatch from the inside and put the handle on the outside. Under the license plate is a battery On/Off switch. The fuel cell and battery are located in the rear under the floor/carpet. The fuel cell is plumbed to the original fuel filler under the fuel door on the left rear fender. The exhaust enters out below the passenger door with 2 big pipes. There are baffles inside the pipes to keep the noise down. It has full roller rockers with push rod guides.
