Here is a beautiful 1968 Chevy Caprice!! This is an excepionally rare 1968 Caprice Coupe with the hide-a-way headlights! This Caprice has a freshly rebuilt big block 454 and a freshly rebuilt street/strip turbo 400 automatic transmission and torque converter. This car has 450 HP/500 foot pounds of torque, 12 bolt posi-track rear end, new polished valve covers, new speed demon 800-ctm 4 BBL carburater, new 14 inch air filter with chrome top, new hot cam, new accell HEI distributer, new hooker headers, new duel aluminized exhaust with duel flow masters, new hoses, new belts,engine compartment has been freshly detailed and painted. The engine starts on the first turn and runs amazing! The motor has been broke in now around 400 miles on it, oil and filter has been done twice in the almost 400 miles sence rebuild.Almost everything is new or been repainted or replaced.it is a beautiful driver.But like i said it still needs a few things as any old car project but it is well on its way as you can see.... This Caprice has the original floor mounted horse shoe shifter, power steering, power brakes, factory A/C (not yet hooked up need compressor), tilt wheel, recent shocks. Picked this beauty up right outside of Dallas drove it back up here to Tulsa drove real nice all the way. This Caprice has all completely new interior all done by Sue from Gas Monkey on TV! Has new Boss 17 inch staggered wheels with wide Z rated tires!This car has a decent paint job for an everyday driver but would need repainted/fixed up for a show car.It definatly needs some more tinkering to be show ready but all the expensive main things are done.The interior is custom...done in leather black and gray total custom job with the "68" impressionon both doors it is a real beauty something to show off that is for sure. The dash has even been redone in the black and gray as well as the center console Sue done and amazing job i love it! The engine is something to show off too! When you open the hood to show it off the first thing ppl say is Wow Nice!
