Vehicle Detail
A few scuff marks and speckles here and there, not too noticeable (see pictures for details). There is a scratch at the lower-right side (I did this coming out of my building's garage), and the windshield has a small chip (again, see pics). I am also having to add water to the cooling system once a week or so (being in Florida I see no need to put in anti-freeze). Other than these minor defects, this RAV4 is in excellent condition - for a thirteen-year-old vehicle!I bought the car on 27.Jul.2013 from Pappas Toyota in St. Peters, Missouri, with 158,104 miles. This is a Toyota through and through, hasn't given any trouble whatsoever, and I take good care of my cars (okay, except for that scratch I mentioned). I drove it from St. Louis to Miami (where it's presently parked) in October of 2013 and it performed beautifully. The gas mileage I guess is somewhere between 20 and 30 mpg, not too sure to be honest.Power windows, 4 doors (sedan), dual airbags, air conditioning (works fantastic), ABS breaks, power windows, moon roof, power locks, four-wheel drive, cassette player, CD player, 4 speakers (good sound, too!), FM/AM radio, cruise control, power side mirrors, tinted rear and back windows, swing-open back door.Don't hesitate to write with offers and/or questions, I'm all ears!!!On May-27-14 at 08:36:36 PDT, seller added the following information: 11:45am EST, Tuesday - UPDATE ON THE RADIATOR LEAK ISSUE: I went to see my friendly neighborhood mechanic. He inspected the radiator, hoses, and liquid container very carefully. What he found out is that the top of the radiator, right where it meets the molded plastic section that holds the radiator - that's where the water leakage is taking place (see new pic). The leakage is very subtle, which explains why there are no water spots on the ground where the car is parked. In conclusion: the radiator should be replaced. Parts: $150. Labor: $90 - That's my mechanic's estimate. The Toyota dealer would probably charge more. At any rate, I lowered the minimum price from $4,500 to $4,000.
