1975 Chevy Vega Extreme So do you want to turn some heads and have some fun…? Hold on to you’re a** because this car is allot of fun to drive and very fast. It also has a clear Montana title and is driven only a few times a year… It was built in 2009 and is kept in the shop until I want to unleash the beast. This car has no rust and is ready for someone to just drive it the way it is or add your own touches and make it yours. Only a few hundred miles on this as it was only used a few times a year. I will start from the front and work my way back, just too much to list Small Block Chev. 350 4 Bolt Main Block High Nickel Content Block.4340 Forged steel crank (dual keyway blower crank)Solid steel dual keyway blower damper. (race)7.4-1 dish forged blower pistons.Lunati camshaft designed for blower motor.Custom built heads 882 casting bored to .202 76cc chambers (Winona Race Shop MN.)Electric Water PumpHolly Red fuel pump with all ½”linesMallory Unilite photo eye distributer.Custom Sanderson headers.Weiand 671 Blower rebuilt by Don Hampton Blowers (all the good stuff)Topped off with two Custom Holly 600 carburetors (Blower Carbs) Boost referenced. · Oh yah blower scoop… · Custom exhaust with Flo-Master 50’s (sounds real nice) The front suspension has been completely rebuilt. New everything graphite impregnated bushings. Complete kit from Kanter Automotive. Although front springs could be replaced as car was first set up without blower so ½ coil was taken out for that but does not affect the way it goes down the road. Complete frame and suspension kit from Alston Racing to include: Large rectangle tube frame kit, 12 point roll cage, Track Locater, Ladder bar rear suspension with QA-1 triple valve coil-over shocks, Front firewall has been moved back to make room for the blower setup. Motor fits real nice also Griffin aluminum radiator and electric fans front and back, (two pushers and two pullers)….. Back half of car has been cut out and custom trap door to access fuel cell. Back half has also been tubbed (room for wider tires) now 295-50-15 DANA 60 4:10 Posi rear-end. Completely rebuilt & narrowed with ford big bearing ends and Dutchman Axles. Mild built Turbo 350 Trans. B&M Nitrous Hole-Shot Converter 3500. Centerline Hellcat wheels Line Locks… The list goes on and on, lot’s of extra good stuff in this car….. I have a lot of money in this car. I know you don’t ever get what you put into it but would like to get around half..I also have a clear Montana title. This car has a great potential… lots of good stuff here. The car probably only has a few hundred miles on it since I built it. It has never been raced and mostly taken around town to have some fun and every year to the Hot August Nights in Libby Montana to do a few good burnouts… The fuel cell is a 14 or 16 gallon and I only run maybe one tank of fuel a year. Now I’m using 110 octane Renegade race fuel but it will run fine on super unleaded and a good led and octane booster…. The car is running a safe total of 34 degrees of advance and about 8 pounds of boost if you get on it real hard…. So if you are looking for something to jump in and have some fun you can… Or you can do more of the finish work and Max it out….. Either way this car is a lot of fun and a great place to start.
