As you can see, a 2004 BMW R 1150 RT. I bought it new from Dave Bak Motorcycle sales in Sioux City, IA. Bak BMW serviced the bike regularly til 2008 when I moved away. Due to a nagging back injury in 2010, I have been unable to really ride the bike as I would like. It has remained garaged and covered. I have taken it out only for very short rides since then. I have changed the oil and filter annually though I have not done it this year yet. Essentially, the bike has not been seriously rode since 2010. It has not been serviced by a BMW shop since 2008. So as I said, it's way over due for a check-up. I have never had any problems with the bike. It has never been in any accident or dropped. It is a clean bike with some minor scratches and scuffs on the seat, side bags and rear end. The right mirror has a small crack along the edge which did not cause me any problem while riding. Bike is equipped with the ABS servo assisted brakes, heated grips, windshield that adjusts electronically, two hard-shell side bags, side and center stand, 6 speed transmission, shaft drive. Shipping is the buyers responsibility. A $500 deposit is required within 48 hours close of auction.
