This 2001 Mustang Bullitt was my father's daily driver for 10 years of commuting, and has racked up over 200,000 miles. Over the last three years it has been sitting in the driveway used only for the occasional weekend cruise. Ford created the Bullitt to commemorate the famous 1968 Steve McQueen movie of the same name. Those who have not seen this movie, do your self a favor and at least find the 10 minute chase scene on youtube...Classic!! If you are looking at this listing then I assume you know these Bullitts are rare, they only made 5,582 and only 723 were done in this True Blue paint scheme. For those that don't know the difference between the GT and the Bullitt just google 2001 Mustang to find out to cool details Ford customized for this model. My favorite Bullitt upgrades are the awesome front seats, .75" lowered suspension with upgraded shocks, short throw shifter, along with the extra horsepower. This car is still an absolute blast to drive. The engine still runs strong and has always received regular oil changes using only Mobil One synthetic. Having said that a couple things I would do if I was going to make it my regular driver. Replace the front pads and rotors (they rattle right now but work fine)Replace the clutch (truth is the clutch is still the original and shifts fine, but could be a bit crisper) Please reach out to me if you have any questions or would like some more pictures of the car.
