Plain and simple a very nice like new very low miles (35,200) Hardtop convertible, New tires and just serviced at the local Mercedes dealer. Garage kept woman driven beauty!!!! Anyone ready for convertible weather???? This car turns heads with its looks and sounds!!! That powerful 5.5 V8 AMG Performance Package from ZERO to 60 in 4.1 seconds. That's why my wife's Plates say BAA BYE. LOL. Here is an update for anyone looking at our SLK 55, Car fax, Experian and AutoCheck all say the same thing reported as frame damage, here is what we found out when we researched the vehicle before we purchased it. As the full history shows it has had 4 owners, 1st owner leased through Mercedes until sold at auction with 25,643 miles and owned it for 6 years, then it was sold at auction to a dealer on 5/18/2012 who then discovered as we did that the front fender shows sign of being remove because you can tell ever so slightly if you look closely that the bolts we retightened in a different spot and the paint on the inside of the fender shows it. They returned the car back to the auto auction because it was not disclosed that there was some repair work done to the car. It was the wholesale auto auction that reported the frame damage..The car was then sold again at the next auction on 6/29/2012 this time the auction announced it as frame damage, we purchase two other reports checking for insurance claims and there is no insurance records showing this car as being damaged or repaired nor did it ever have a salvage title. So I purchased this car last august for my wife’s 50th Birthday present. We flew down to Dallas TX and picked it up. Before making the purchase the dealer agreed to let us take it to have it independently checked out first. We did have it put on a rack and looked over and it was clean with no damage underneath. We then had new tires put on and a 4 wheel alignment done to make sure of no issues. And again all is good so we purchased the car and it drove home and it drove like a dream, drove until the weather got cold and put it away in the garage until it was convertible weather again (Like Now) Unfortunately my wife’s daily driver the family cars transmission went out and we had to buy a new car. After a long debate we decided we cannot afford three car payments at this time so the Mercedes must go. Below is the Full report as I have described the history of the car. You can see in the report that we took it to be checked out by our local Mercedes dealer and serviced while it was in getting checked out on 11/29/2013 and on 12 /09/2013 my wife ordered personalized plates that say BAA BYE on them.
