This 1995 Honda Goldwing SE is in excellent condition and has been recently serviced. It is free of any scrapes, dents, dings or rust. The paint finish is glossy. It has not been dropped, never been in an accident. Due to failing health, my wife is no longer able to ride, so we are selling our motorcycles. We are the 2nd owners. From 1995 to 2000 are among the best GL1500 SE years, and they were virtually unchanged except for minor cosmetic details from 1995 to 2000. By the 2000 model, it began to see a decline in quality control due to the anticipation of the new GL1800. 1995 to 1999 are therefore arguably the best GOLDWING YEARS of all. http://www.goldwingfacts.com/goldwinghistory.htm The GL1500 SE is noticeably quieter and smoother than the newer GL1800 models, because the gears are bevel-cut as opposed to square cut gears in the GL1800. It is without a doubt the quietest and most comfortable fully equipped touring bike ever made. The present triple-tip exhaust has a bit more presence than the stock mufflers, but it is still pleasant. It starts instantly and still feels tight and very much like a new ride. It has always been garaged. The color is PEARL GLACIER WHITE and it looks spectacular in person. Tastefully pinstriped and loaded with extras, scroll down for a full list. It has had a recent service by Carolina Honda, including a new battery, all oils & filters & fluids changed, and all systems are functioning at 100%. Front & Rear tires have approx. 70-80% tread remaining and it is ready in every way to travel anywhere in the country. I will state that it is in quite nice condition throughout. I'm not going to say "mint" which is overused on Ebay, so, you may find a minimal flaws here and there, but nothing outstanding or noticeable. Seat, dash, tires, paint, chrome, etc. are all in excellent condition. The wood veneers are in pretty good overall condition with minimal fading. The left fairing storage lid trim has some cracking in the wood veneer, but none of the other veneers have any cracking in the finish. Includes an original 20th anniversary key, original Owners Manual, and the Honda Tool Kit. The Very Unique Etched Windshield is taller and much wider than the stock windshield and provides a larger buffeting free comfort zone for both driver and passenger. The custom made windshield actually covers and protects the hand grip areas left and right. This may well be one of the nicer, lower mileage GL1500's for sale in the whole country. Goldwing SE's hold their value very well, and lots of them accumulate many miles and still hold their value well. You could spend more on one with higher miles and not get as nice a ride as this one.
