Here's the deal I have been looking for a 51-52 F-1 for a long time had one in High School back in 1964 dated my wife in it still have the Wife not the truck. So a few months back a deal came up had to buy four trucks there were old trucks and cars all over this guy's field and parts every where, guys were taking stuff off one truck here another there now all the 51-52's are all over my yard. This truck has a clear title but is a mess lots of parts gone I even took two of the running board hangers I am not even sure if the parts setting around this truck were it's parts so we just bolted stuff on the hood, fenders and some junked out running boards, the Cab and Flatbed were on the frame. Looks like a Cow fell on the hood and then someone tried to fix with a hammer the cab is not bad one corner has a few very small holes the fender tops are not bad but need those repair patches at bottom and repair at seam. For some reason a hole was cut in the floor on Pass side maybe a bigger battery. The dash is cut up you will need to build one or buy an after market one. Only has a rear Lic plate The Title calls in a 52 but I think the ID tag calls it a 51 must have sold in the next year. One of the owners said it ran but smoked a lot I think he smoked me when we got them home after a few days and a lot of miles I could take a better look at this stuff the engine will move but I think there is a bent valve I am no expert but that's what I think. The good news the brakes still will stop it if you are pulling it in the yard I know BIG DEAL I also think the steering box is out of a later 50's truck but not sure but not like the one that I am going to keep. There are a few new wires on the truck I made the lights all work for the DMV and then they never asked. The bottom of the doors look OK but you will need work to the bottom corner inside the truck see pictures. They said the engine is a 6 out of 70's Mustang and a C-4 trans. The truck is a lot of work maybe Farm truck Rat Rod sell the parts the good thing is the clear Title. We only took pictures of one for the fenders both sides have same damage The reserve is under $1000.
