I have a good running 88 BMW 735i that I got off a friend of mine as part of another deal. Its a good running and driving car and has just over 117k miles which is pretty low for the year compared to others. The body is in great shape and has no rust that i'm aware of. The paint shines real nice and doesn't really have any defects other than a few highway chips. I just got it inspected last month. Tires and brakes are all good on it and it has a new battery and new fuel pump. The interior is in decent shape but the two front seats have some stitching coming apart that can be resewn. One front control arm bushing is going to need to be replaced at some point in time it clunks every so often if you hit a bump just right and occasionally the odometer readout turns off and you have to tap the gauge cluster for it to come back on. I've heard that the 88's are pretty common for doing this and its pretty simple to throw in a new cluster if it really bothers you. The windows, sunroof and seats work as they should. All in all its a nice car and I'd drive it anywhere I just don't have a use for it as I already have three cars.
