This is a 1956 Ford Truck F100 Short Bed, that I recently picked up, so can only tell you what I know. This is a Running Driving Truck that I drove a few times and it Runs Great! The guy I got the truck from had owned the truck for 37 years, and drove to back and forth to work. It had sat for a years before I got it and I replaced the fuel pump and lines and did some work on carb. It really runs good now fires right up! The bad think about the truck is it lived at the coast and the moisture had got the best of it on a few areas, Roof, Rear fenders have rust and cab corners and hood. also running boards. This is still a Truck that can be driven now and fix when u have time! I will describe the Truck the best I can: Body: The body has rust in areas including the inner fenders where it meets fenders, roof and the truck does have dents all around, does have Oak Wood in Bed with SS Strips that are painted. This is a truck that was used as a Truck!!! Please look at pics!! Right front fender is damaged (needs replaced) hood has rust on front and not in that good of condition. (does open and close like it should). Paint is old, grille is dented, Overall the truck's body is rough but still a complete 56. Interior: has Nice Seat (no tears) and door panels will need cleaning, All Lights work!!!!! turn signals work! All Gauges Work!!! Wipers work! Heater Works! Has seat belts, again an old truck but inside is good. I could not get the radio to work but has speakers installed already. Glass is good no Cracks!!! all Windows work as they should! Engine: It has the Original Straight 6 that came with the Truck and I mentioned earlier that I Have driven the truck and it runs strong and really good! Fires right up, has fairly new battery, Wiring is good no problems! Trans: The truck originally came with a 3 speed on the column, and the previous owner changed it to a 4 speed on the floor, It shifts Great! Clutch works Great. I do have the original Trans and Bell Housing and Driveline that will go with the truck, (He gave it to me when I bought it) Chassis: Stock: Original suspension, Brakes work as they should!!! Frame Has No Rust looks good! (please see pics) as for the steering it does wander a bit going down the road, needs some attention in that area. But its Fun to Drive! Wheels are 15" all around and Nice and tires are Good! Has new Spare Tire on Rack! This is a Running Truck! I have not had it long at all so I'm telling you what I know and see on the truck. Its not a show truck its a Hot Rod, Rat Rod or Cruiser, The Truck sat for a few years before I got to it, so I only know what I see. Still a nice little 56 that you can drive and still do your own stuff to it. If You Have any Questions Please ask!!! I am trying to describe the truck the best I can. I have not have it long.
