Always garaged, Moving Must Sell!! Remarkable example of the timeless 280 SE Mercedes. Purchased in Italy while I was stationed there in 1998. It is of course a European model which was not produced in the United States. It was not until 1976 that some of these features and options (Four-wheel disk brakes, fuel injection, etc.) like these were regularly seen in the U.S. versions of this car. Yes, the mileage is in kilometers. Like a true time capsule from top to bottom. Beautifully straight, and has been repainted once the original color. Besides a few minors nicks and chips, the paint is in excellent shape. Interior is in amazing shape throughout. Seats, door panels, dash, carpets and headliner are in wonderful condition. All gauges, lights, signals function. There is an aftermarket radio/CD player installed, but if you prefer, there is a blank which came with the car with the 280 SE logo on it if you desire a more authentic look. Well maintained and has always been garaged both in Italy and the U.S. and not driven in winter or when the weather will be wet. Still has the spare tire along with original jack and complete owners books. She runs and drives like a Mercedes Benz from this era did, with excellent performance and wonderful ride. Doors close like vaults and still has that classic Benz look. Just a truly superb car that will make its next owner very proud.
