Vehicle Detail
Just in time for the summer and Bimmerfest - a clean e30 with low mileage and tons of extras. This is a babied, garage kept, non-smoking one owner car. We purchased it new at Weatherford BMW in 1987.I swapped in the engine from a newer E36 series M3. This S52 engine swap was done with an obsessive attention to detail. I spent over $12,000 and 6 months putting in all new gaskets, sensors, filters, plugs, seals etc both externally and under the valve cover. The ZF320 transmission and 3.23 LSD were both professionally rebuilt and the e30 m3 drive shaft is a remanufactured unit as well. The engine swap has been refereed in California with a CARB approval sticker. That means this car can be smog tested at a regular test station like any other car with no hassle or under the table dealings, and passes flawlessly.Selling this car is a really difficult decision for me. I have a lot of work in it but unfortunately I simply don't have time for it anymore. In the last 3 years I have only driven it a couple hundred miles, so I'm looking to sell it to the someone who will take care of it and enjoy it.Clean smog report and the title are in hand. Immediate deposit of $500 is required with the balance to be paid via bank/cashiers check. Prefer to meet in the San Francisco Bay Area for pickup, but I will also work with the buyer's transportation company of choice. Shipping is at the buyer's expense. Buyer agrees to sign a bill of sale with the understanding that this is a customized car, and there is no warranty. The setup...Chassis mileage 110kEngine mileage ~70kEngine and driveline:S52 engineS50/M50 manifold swapZF320 transmissionUUC Lightweight flywheelUpgraded M5 clutch & guiboRebuilt e30 M3 drive shaftRebuilt LSD 3.23 M3K&N air intake with CARB exemption sticker3.5" MAF conversionBig bore throttle body24lb fuel injectorsTurner chipProfessionally fabricated exhaust from the headers back - 2 versions included (OEM cats and aftermarket)Stromung exhaustCarbon fiber engine coverRedline oil in the diff & trannyWheels & Suspension:Staggered Kerscher Futura wheels (8.5" rear and 7.5" front ) - fresh custom powder coatedNew Falken FK452 tires (245 in back, 215 in front)1995 M3 steering rackEibach springsBilstien shocksIreland Sway barsCustom adjustable sway bar linksTreehouse racing lolipopsUrethane adjustable RTA bushingsUrethane rear sub frame bushingsUpgraded/replaced chassis bolts... and of course everyone's favorite Eibach braceBody:Original M-tech II body kit (OEM, the real thing)Euro "smiley" lights (OEM BOSCH, not imitations) with HID kitCarbon fiber hoodCarbon fiber wrapped door handles and grilleSmoked side markers, tail lights and headlightsInterior:Custom leather was done about 10k miles agoMtech EVO steering wheelCustom windscreenRear seats removed and replaced with a cargo shelf/areaCustom ABS speaker pods in the doorsCustom gauge cluster with lighted VDO oil temp, pressure and voltageRare limited edition Lucas BMW adjustable cup holdersStereo:Eclipse MK7200 MK2 deck (I have several decks from Eclipse/Nakamichi if you want a different look/sound)Infinity Perfect 5" component setKicker Comp 6.5" midsInfinity tweetersJL 10w7 subwooferMB Quart Reference amps RAA4200 & RAA2400If the above isn't enough, I have several bins of spare parts (everything from oil filters to the original door pockets) which I will include.
