This is a 1979 Corvette. I have owned it since 1992. It has over 100k miles on it. I rebuilt the engine and transmission 50K miles ago. I don’t drive it much and I have lost my inside storage. The car is very quick. It idles in gear at about 700 rpm with a slight lope. After rebuilding the engine and trans I ran a low to mid 13 second quarters. The engine is a 400 cubic inch small block that has been bored .030 to make it 406 cubic inches. The compression ratio is 9.5:1. The cast iron heads have been ported. There are 1.94/1.5 valves with reduced shanks, Weiland aluminum intake with a 750 CFM Quadrajet spreadbore carburetor. The cam is Comp Cams .460 intake & exhaust with hydraulic lifters. The rocker arms are 1.6 ratio which makes the comparable cam lift .490. The ignition is HEI with a quick advance curve. The exhaust is true dual 2 ½ pipes through DynoMax mufflers & 2 ¾ tailpipes. The transmission is a Turbo 350 with a shift kit. The differential was rebuilt 2 years ago. The rear axle ratio is 3.55:1. It has heavy duty front and rear sway bars. The brake calipers have stainless steel sleeves. I repainted the car and replace the interior14 years age. They are showing their age. I installed a new front bumper cover. It is splitting. On May-14-14 at 17:45:01 PDT, seller added the following information: I replace the speedometer & the tachometer. The odometer is at 47695. The car has 110k or so on it. I replace the interior years ago. The carpet in the right footwell has deteriorated. The leather seats have some cracking but they haven't split. The dash was replaced and is in good shape. The door panels were replaced and are in good shape. On May-14-14 at 18:32:47 PDT, seller added the following information: The OE style leather wrapped steering wheel is a little worn but has no rips or tears. All the emblems were replaced. The emblem on the gas tank door has faded. There are L82 emblems on the hood.On May-14-14 at 18:51:33 PDT, seller added the following information: The frame and undercarriage are sold with some light rust in spots.
