This FJ40 comes out of the stable of Classic 4x4 Co., in Las Cruces, New Mexico, who specializes in these highly collectable vehicles. This FJ started life in California, then spent the other half in Arizona. As we all know, these vehicles out West are the most sought after due to the hot dry climate. The odometer shows 34,000 miles and the title shows actual miles on it as well. The engine is the original 6 cylinder and runs very well. It has good compression and doesn't smoke. The transmission is a 3 speed and shifts as expected, and the clutch has plenty of pedal and is in good proper working condition. It has headers and a Weber carburetor, which adds a increase in power. The interior is all redone, including seats, headliner, and rubber floor mat. The body has been completely stripped to bare metal, and was primed and painted to the original biege. This is a beautifully done paint job, done only in DuPont materials, which is sure to last a lifetime. This was a frame on restoration and was built to be driven and used as it was intended for. The tires are brand new as well as a new 2 inch lift, which includes new springs and shocks, which gives it a nice stance. There has been many new parts installed on this vehicle and nothing left untouched. All lights, blinkers, and gauges, work properly except the fuel gauge and speedometer.
