The 1969 Ford M Code 351 Mach 1 Mustang The Mach 1 debuted in 1969 as the mainstream high performance Mustang, taking over from the GT. Two and four barrel 351’s were offered plus the four barrel 390 and the 428 CJ and CJ Ram-Air. Unlike the GT option, the Mach 1 model included special interior that featured many of the Deluxe décor Group items plus high back bucket seats and special carpet. This particular lady is a seriously striking example which turns heads wherever she goes! The engine is extremely strong and responsive with excellent oil pressure and no noticeable oil leaks and which sounds absolutely magnificent, the automatic transmission shifts smoothly through the gears and the engine temperature always remains cool. The car’s beautiful Acapulco Blue paint is correct for the 69' Mach 1 stripes and markings are still of a very good quality with a very professional finish and with minor imperfections noticeable only upon very close inspection. There is one small door ding from a local car show that can be seen the pictures. The interior is correct to 69’ standards and this is one fine example of the increasingly collectible and desirable 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 with an original “M” code 351 4 barrel 290 hp engine.
