Mechanical Condition: The car is in good mechanical condition. The car runs and idles smooth and has plenty of power on the road. No smoke from the exhaust. No leaks under the car. No lights on the dash. The spark plugs were recently replaced. The oil and oil filter is new and clean 10w-60 Castrol full synthetic as recommended by BMW, the used oil when changed ran black with no metal flakes or discolor. No unusual suspension noises or vibrations. No problems with the differential breaking away from the body like many of these cars do. The differential and prop shaft are in good working order with no vibrations or noises. The exhaust is free of rust and holes. The are all new, with less than 1000 miles on them. Inside the AC works well and all fan speeds work. The cooling system works normally and during idle the car's temperature gauge stays right in the middle. Cooling fans cycle on and off normally. Power seats, power windows, power mirrors, rear view mirror dimmer, trunk opener, and sunroof work. All lights are fully functional inside and outside. All diagnostic lights work normally when the car key is turned on. The transmission shifts normally and on time. Both paddle shifters and console gear selector operate normally. All of the sport mode,DSC, SMG shift time selector, TPMS, and Harman Kardon audio buttons on the center console work normally. Power steering operates normally. Brake pads and rotors are in good condition with no vibrations and very responsive. E-brake works fine. There are two keys/fobs that come with the car and the car locks and unlocks remotely perfectly. The battery is 2-3 years old and holds a charge well. Cosmetic condition: The exterior of the car looks good and the paint is overall in good and glossy condition. The hood has a few minor nicks but no dents. The front bumper, rear bumper are in great condition, no cuts dents or scratches. A few small curb scratches on bottom of front bumper. Beside the liscense plate is a scratch, previous owner tried to touch up, but could probably be buffed out if someone takes the time to do it right. No rust underneath the car.. The wheels have some curb rash on the edges.The interior is in overall good condition. The carpets, dash, and door panels are very clean with no cracks. Some of the black parts on the console have some surface scratches on them. The steering wheel bezel has some wear, previous driver rubbed the black of the plastic, part can be replaced, I never got around to it. The seats are in acceptable condition however there is some signs of aging on the leather and cracking however there is no tears or areas worn through.. Headliner is not sagging.
