I am selling this beautiful one owner 1963 Pontiac Catalina Convertible for an elderly friend who is moving into an assisted living home. He decided it is finally time to let someone else enjoy and love this car the way he has for all these years. It is very rare to find any car of this vintage, especially a convertible with its original tri color interior still in fantastic condition. This car has a very good body, unbelievable original interior and dash and carpet, excellent looking top and working power top and brilliant chrome and stainless. The car even still has its original convertible top boot and bag. The floor and frame are in great condition. The body and paint are in amazing condition for original , but there are some rust spots and door dings. The car sat inside not being driven for quite some time, so the owner sent the car to a local high end restoration shop and told them to completely go through the mechanical system. The engine, transmission and brake system were all rebuilt at a cost of over $14,000.00 with receipts. The car has been driven 20,760 miles since. The car drives, handles, shifts sounds and brakes flawlessly as it should. I don't exaggerate the condition of cars this is a great investment.
