1949 STUDEBAKER 1/2 TON 2R5 Series PICKUP TRUCK with V8 - Restored Very nice restored Studebaker 1/2 ton Pickup with numerous upgrades. It is equipped with a V8 engine, 3-speed manual column shift transmission with overdrive and overload rear springs. This truck has been upgraded with a Studebaker V8, dual exhaust, 12 volt electrical system with GM style alternator, VDO gauges (speedometer, tachometer, water temperature, oil pressure, volts, fuel), front & side exterior visor/sunshields, 15" spoke wheels, chrome front bumper guard, enhanced front grille, electric windshield wipers and a custom interior plus dual spotlights with mirrors and front fog lights for looks. This is a Texas truck that has been part of a large Auto collection in Southern California over the last 10 years and was restored prior to that. The glass and rubber are in great condition and were replaced at the time of the restoration. All body panels are very straight with no signs of rust. The truck runs/drives well and looks as good as it does in the listing photos that were taken over the last few days. This truck is well over 60 years old and the true mileage is unknown so we are selling it as-is.
