Vehicle Detail
This stunning Pontiac is a mostly original car with professionally restored bodywork and interior. It was restored from a clean and rust free California car back to its original red over black livery. See some images of the car prior to restoration on the poster board in the pictures. The restoration work is more than 10 years old, but it shows very little wear. The paint and bodywork are wonderful, smooth and straight with excellent panel fit. Since restoration, the car has been garaged and driven lightly. The engine is fitted with an aftermarket alternator. The engine and undercarriage are clean but have not been restored or detailed like the exterior. The engine has the optional Carter 4bbl carburetor. The hydramatic transmission shifts roughly at times. Could be a linkage adjustment or just normal, I don't know for sure. The car has been driven on old car tours and is certainly capable of long distance drives. The engine is strong, quiet and does not smoke. I am trying to describe this car accurately, but there is no substitute for a personal inspection. I welcome you or a delegate to inspect this car in person. It is located near Albuquerque, NM, not far from the airport. I am listing this car for a friend. If you have specific questions about the car, I will try to get them answered promptly. The car has a current NM title in the owner's name. This is a no reserve auction so there is no need to ask me what the reserve is. Please do NOT bid unless you are in a position to complete this contract. The high bidder is going to own this beautiful Pontiac.
