This mustang convertible rolled off the assembly line in 1966 was a night mist blue with a white complete power top. It had a black interior with the rare bench seat in the front!! Under the hood is a 2 barrel 289 told to me by the original owner that is the numbers matching. The motor spins by hand, but we have not tried to start it. To complement the 289, is a C-4 automatic transmission that again was told to me the be original to the car. This shifts into gear no problem. I have not looked at the numbers personally, so I cannot verify what the owner said. It has power drum brakes all around, and a complete power steering set-up as well. This has potential to be a beautiful car! I was going to restore it, but the wifey said it's got to go. Every panel on this thing is original except the hood. It comes with 4 steel rims. Not the chrome ones in some of the pictures. There is also no interior with this car. It will require a full restoration, but with all the original parts you really can't lose. This is well worth a full restoration and will be a beautiful car when it is done. The title has been checked and verified by the state police, which is clear with paper work to prove it. It will also come with a bill of sale, NO title the state of Connecticut does not require titles for cars this old. The frame is solid at parts, but where the floor has rotted out the tourqe boxes are rough as well as the frame rails. This car has all the parts and pieces except the interior.
