Vehicle Detail

1983 Moto Morini 500 V SportUp for bid is a pristine 1983 Moto Morini 500 V Sport. I bought the bike with 460 miles and it has only 1300 now. The bike is in pristine condition as the mileage would indicate. Under my ownership, I added stainless mufflers, billet V stacks for the Dellorto carbs (which were re jetted), CRG mirrors, metal/enameled tank, side cover and triple tree badges, stainless hardware throughout the bike, and rear sets from Wolfgang Tritsch. The rearsets required a modification to the kick-start lever and new shift lever linkage to be fabricated. The bike starts on the button or will kick over and start on first kick. It runs flawlessly and is a joy to ride. On Apr-28-14 at 18:41:21 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been asked about any spares that will come with bike. I have the following to send with bike: 4 new timing belts, 1 new oil filter, airbox, 4 new air filters, 1 carb rebuild kit, 1 new Grimeca front master cylinder and lever, 1 new set clutch plates, 1 set new brake pads, 4 new fork seals, new 14 tooth front cog, new 40 tooth rear cog, stock exhaust, stock paoli rear shocks (bike has Works Performance gas shocks now). Tire are brand new Avons. On Apr-29-14 at 12:03:11 PDT, seller added the following information: In response to further questions asked: 1. Bike is a 6 speed, hence the "SEI" designation. It will cruise all day long on the freeway at 80..er, I mean 65 MPH. 2. The extra front and rear cogs are new, the cogs on bike only have 1300 miles (original to bike) on them and are almost new. 3. The paint is original. Bike really has only 1300 miles, was never down, so if you want a brand new 1983 Moto Morini this is as close are you will ever get. 4. The badges are very high quality CNC metal/enamelled badges made by Morinibadges.com, a New Zealand company. The original badges were plastic, and while they were original, they were, well, cheesy plastic. The badges now on bike are pieces of art, comparatively, and are exact copies of the originals (except the cheesy plastic).
