The C-Class grew 3.7 inches longer and 1.7 inches wider when it was redesigned, taking on a cleaner, more angular appearance. This Luxury model has comfort suspension and traditional Mercedes-Benz grille and hood ornament. Two front bucket seats and a three-place rear bench provide seating for five. An angular dashboard design mimics the car's exterior styling theme. The trunk measures 12.4 cubic feet, which is slightly more than a 3 Series sedan but less than a G37's 13.5-cubic-foot trunk. Standard eight-way power front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, moonroof and leather-wrapped steering wheel. Installed is leather upholstery and a navigation system. The C300 is powered by a 3.0-liter V-6, 228-hp engine and teams with a seven-speed automatic transmission. C300's engine can run on E85 ethanol. Standard safety features include: Side-impact airbags for the front seats, side curtain airbags, front-seat pelvic airbags, active front head restraints, four-wheel-disc antilock brakes, traction control and electronic stability system.
