I have a 2001 beetle TDI that i want to sell as a whole car, i dont want to get into parting it out. I found out it needs a new Power Control Module ( PCM ). It gets approximatley 45 MPG combined I bought it with 77,000 miles on it and it now has 181,000 on it. Ive put Rotella T synthetic in it and changed it every 3,000 miles since i bought it. A new valve body was installed in the transmission at 135,000 miles. A new 100,000 mile timing belt was installed at 144,000 miles. Exterior is mostly in pretty good condition, no major dents, although it has some clear coat peeling on the left rear side, windshield is cracked, but overall just a few chips and dings on the hood and elsewhere. Interior is a little worn in a couple spots, on the drivers seat and a cigarette burn on the rear seat, seats are dirty but in good condition. It needs a glove box because it has rattled apart and cracked and i cant seem to get it epoxied back together so that's probably the major malfunction as far as interior damage. I had the roof liner and door panels redone a while back, but the door pulls are cracked. all lights and glass other than windshield are good. Power windows work, door locks and mirror switches work. Tires will pass inspection but don't have a whole lot of life left. Send best offer. Located in Stafford, Va.
