1973 Honda CL350K. 1,976 original miles, not many around in this original condition! Everyone has a story so here is mine. I found this bike in a basement and bought it to give to my father as a surprise birthday present as he had a 72 like it back in the day. Close to a year was spent as money and time would allow, about the time it was finished my father had a severe medical condition which caused him to go blind in one eye. Therefore the bike is for sale. The bike had been sitting for 39 years but I got it running fairly quickly. Every gasket and seal on the motor was leaking oil. The engine was removed from the frame and every seal and gasket was replaced. The following parts were also replaced: fork seals and oil, new tires and tubes, steering head bearings, new air filters “very hard to find!”, points, plugs, battery, chain, all control cables, grips, rebuilt the carburetors and a host of other parts. The original owner’s manual remains under the seat along with the tool kit in the lower storage compartment. This is the original paint so the tank does have some nicks and bruises from the last 41 years of having stuff thrown on top of it. The paint still retains it gloss though. The work performed on the bike was done with reliability being the goal. As the picture shows the inside of the tank is spotless. The bike looks and runs great and always draws a crowd when I take it out. All work was performed by an AMI Certified motorcycle technician. I have over $5,000.00 invested but I dont have a need for this vintage bike so it has to go. I have a clear Kentucky title and everything works on the bike as it should. The only thing that doesn’t work is the steering lock. The key goes in but the lock is frozen. The winning bidder will not be disappointed. 50% of selling price is expected in within 48 hours of the auction closing. The last 50% can be made at time of pick up in cashiers check or cash.
