Up for sale is a super nice example of Honda's best small displacement vintage 4 cylinder the CB400F. This is an unmolested example and is almost completely stock except for the muffler and the addition of 1K worth of chrome and a custom paint job ! I am a semi retired master tech that was in the power sport industry for over 35 years. I buy restore and sell vintage bikes full time now and this is one of the cleanest vintage Honda's I've ever come across. It's unrestored and ready to go ! It's not a museum piece but it's a really nice rider or could be easily restored to showroom condition. I have performed the following services on it; Acid dipped carbs and rebuilt with Keyster kits and synced. New points,plugs and condesors and set ign timing.Adjusted valves and cam chain. Rebuilt front brake caliper and flushed hydr. Acid washed fuel tank and installed new oem honda petcock. Installed new reproduction stock seat.( Had a king and queen style with sissy bar on it that goes with bike also) This bike starts,idles and runs excellent and sounds great ! I took it around the block and it goes through all the gears and stops just like it's supposed to. I bought this from a women who's had this bike for the last 24 years and it was her baby and it shows. The paint job is in pretty good shape considering it's 22 years old with a few streaks and one tiny chip/dent but as you can see from the pic's it still looks pretty good. I just wiped it down for the pic's so I'm sure it would look even better if some one took the time to really polish it. With all that said this is still a 38 year old vintage motorcycle so there is no warr either expressed or implied. I've got a lot of other projects waiting to get underway so the first 2800.00 takes it.
