You are viewing a 1981 Corvette, that was one of the last built as it is a BOWLING GREEN assembled car. This Corvette was built with CC1 removable glass roof panels,DG7 electric sport mirrors K35 cruise control, a U75 power antenna and N90 aluminum wheels, and A42 power driver seat which was the first year for this option and the first year for DG7 electric sport mirrors. It has 255/60/15 inch Good year eagle tires with plenty of tread. The interior is in well above average condition. The dash pad is Perfect, the silver leather seats are like new, as are the door panels and carpet and all other interior components. The mirrored glass tops seal very well, with NO leaks of any kind. The power driver seat DOES need a new switch. The tilt telescopic wheel works as it should. It has a very high end alpine stereo system with compact disc AM/FM with all four speakers upgraded. It sounds great and plays very well with IPod USB. The drive train has been upgraded, it has a nom high performance 350 engine and a edelbrock aluminum intake a comp cam midrange RPM Camshaft ported and polished heads and a set of Doug Thorley, long tube equal length headers that really make some great power and lots of torque. The transmission has been upgraded, it also has a 2800 RPM stall speed torque convertor, This is a very potent combination pulling over 325 horse power with an Awesome idle and sound, and is a VERY good driver.This Corvette has a unique code 40 silver green metallic paint finish, which was only used in 1982 on only 723 Corvettes. This is a very beautiful combo with the silver green paint finish and the beautiful silver interior. All the body panels fit Very well and there are NO stress cracks. The headlights open and close as they should. It does need an A/C compressor. This Corvette has New frame and body bushings which is a common problem as the original ones tend to break down and rot . IT Does appear that this Silver Green Beauty, had a frame off restoration from the indication of the new body and frame bushings and the undercarriage being as clean as you will find from the frame rails to the floor pans which are original and perfect, all other suspension components have been upgraded.This Corvette is sold AS IS with No warranty implied.
