Up for auction is a 66 Mustang Convertible in need of total restoration. 289 C CODE Factory 4 Speed car. Car was purchased from someone who had intentions to put a rack and pinion in. Shock towers were removed and the frame rails were notched for the rack. I purchased the car with the intentions of putting it back to its original glory and purchased all new metal to replace shock towers and fender aprons (front and back) included in the sale. The floors have been patched. Trunk drop off on drivers side will need to be replaced. Torque boxes have some rust. Front frame rails are in good condition. Have motor and trans (was told it's original to car but no guarantee, believe the trans is original T10). Have rust free doors and NOS Ford hood. Interior panels, front and rear seats (need to be reupholstered), complete top mechanism, full length console. Recently installed rearend under car with wheels springs.
